Workshops for parents

The importance of child protection education and awareness

Education and awareness about child protection are vital for parents, caregivers, children and young people. Knowing the risks, recognising the signs, and understanding how to respond can make an enormous difference to a child's safety and wellbeing.

Empowering families with practical knowledge helps create safer environments, encourages open conversations, and equips everyone to respond appropriately when concerns arise.

Professional Attending a Seminar

Parents and caregivers workshop

This two hour workshop will inform parents and caregivers about the challenges and risks surrounding child safety and abuse that children and youth may encounter. You will be equipped with practical and age-appropriate strategies to prevent harm and create safe environments for children and youth.

This workshop focuses on children from birth to 18 years. We can also present workshops with a focus on specific age groups, for example, 0-11 years, 12-18 years.

Parent, Wellington

The parents workshop was interesting and empowering. I feel better equipped to teach body safety and boundaries with my children, in a way that is not scary and will make sense to them.
